CUB Events Added, Concerts Updated
CUB has graciously given us a heads up on the first half of their Fall programming line-up.
The biggest name of all the names is Blessid Union of Souls, which you may remember from their 90′s hits “I Believe” and “Hey Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)”. Â The band is coming off of a 5 year hiatus and has moved in a new direction, but should still be a big hit for the campus crowd.
The usual Cedar Point trip is September 19th.
Also, I have updated the Concert listing page, so check out all those concerts that happen right before returning to campus. Â Classes start August 24th. Â (P.S. – there is a countdown clock here on the left side of the page).

Concerts for the Week Ahead
Kind of a slow week. Â NOT. Â Billy Joel and Elton John take over Columbus tonight, and some country singer by the name of Taylor Swift drops by the Burgh and give Columbus another great show. Â If you’re into rock ‘n roll, Crue Fest comes to Blossom, and Nickelback invades Post-Gazette Pavilion. Â Enjoy the list below, and look for House of Blues Cleveland to join the list of venues we track soon!

Concert Update and Ticket Deal
Well, AT&T finally got the internet working again, and I’m a bit behind on some things.
Like Live Nation making today a No-Fee sale day. Â $30 gets you a lawn seat, drink, and hot dog for any show this summer at Blossom Music Center, Nautica Pavilion, Time Warner Cable Amphitheater, and Post-Gazette Pavilion (Links will take you to the list of concerts without service fees at each venue). Â It’s not every concert, but it’s a nice selection of cheap seats and “free” food, which is about a $10-$12 savings in itself.
But here are all the concerts hitting the area in the next week. Â And always remember that if you want to see all of the area’s concerts on one page, head over to the Regional Concert Guide.
