UPDATE: Robison Waives Hearing, Awaits Grand Jury Indictment
MC Student Thomas Robison waived his right to a hearing yesterday according to the Marietta Times, which means his case can now be presented to a Grand Jury. Â The Grand Jury can add more charges to the indictment if they deem it necessary, which means an additional charge of felonious assault could added. Â Felonious assault can add up to eight years to his list of charges, which include up to ten years for robbery and 33 days for probation violation.
Reportedly, the man he allegedly stabbed is out of the hospital. Â There is no date set yet for the Grand Jury Indictment.
Keep an eye out for next week’s Marcolian, which I am being told features interviews of Robison, his lawyer, the man he allegedly stabbed, and other students. Â Hard hitting journalism from the Marcolian? Â You heard it here first.

Bomb Threat Suspect Faces Grand Jury
The Marietta Times has an article up discussing the curious case of the man suspected of making five bomb threats in two days. He has not been charged
Suspect Michael Marshall is facing anywhere from first degree misdemeanor charges that have up to 6 months per count, or up to a second-degree felony that will send him to jail anywhere from 3-8 years per count.
As a side note, stay classy Marietta residents. Their comments to the newspaper’s website are not called for and completely disrespectful.
