Rock-A-Day: Baby Fuzzie Edition

The new members of Alpha Xi Delta had originally planned to paint the rock near the end of last week, but the College Democrats had already claimed the space.  So on Saturday night, the “Baby Fuzzies” of Alpha Xi Delta went out to paint the rock.

To be honest, when I first saw the rock, I though it said “Fraggle Rock“, which is a much different situation.

Rock-A-Day: Democrats Edition

The Marietta College Democrats are making the campus aware of their weekly meeting time and place.  If you’re interested in joining the College Democrats, they meet in Upper Gilman at 10 PM on Thursdays.

Rock-A-Day: Volleyball Edition

About a week and a half ago, the Marietta College Volleyball team sponsored a Greek Night, which included a canned food donation competition between the six Fraternities and Sororities on campus.  All donated canned goods went to the Marietta Food Pantry.

Rock-A-Day: Paint a Kappa Today

The Sigma Kappa’s painted the rock last night to make sure the campus knew about their philanthropy effort, Paint a Kappa.  It benefits Ultraviolet, which benefits four different philanthropies.

Rock-A-Day: Rush Edition

Interfraternity Council painted the rock this week to make the campus aware that it was Rush Week.  What looked better…the Rock, or the masterful use of Word when making the event poster this year?  Rush week continues tonight with events from Lambda Chi Alpha, Alpha Tau Omega, and Delta Tau Delta.  You can find the full schedule on the Writing on the Mall calendar.

Rock-A-Day: Recruitment Edition

The Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha painted the rock to wish all three Panhellenic Council chapters good luck with recruitment.  58 women ended up receiving bids last week to Sigma Kappa, Chi Omega, and Alpha Xi Delta.  We’ll have a link to the Bid Day video soon.

Rock-A-Day: Club MC Edition

I meant to post this yesterday, but as you might be able to guess, somebody was a bit busy and ran out of time.  So here it CUB’s Club MC rock, which was advertising Club MC (which was last night, and awesome, as always).  Welcome Back Bash continues through Saturday night.
